Five years from now... Well 5 years from now would put me at the ago of 28. By that time I'm hoping to have all of my goals and ambitions sorted out, I have way to many some days while others it doesn't seem like much.
In the next 5 years I hope that I am working in the Child and Youth Worker field, either in a hospital or a school. I would really like to help younger kids get on the right track and help them succeed in there life so that they can have a bright future and live there dreams. If I can help just one, then I'll be happy and know I've chosen the right field of work.
I have always liked working with kids and being around them. I think that just being able to work with them and make there lives better if I can will be very similar to the life style I want to lead. One day I would like to have a family, and the more kids the better in my mind, but that is definitely a discussion to have with my future partner.
I would like to travel, but I'm not sure I would want to work in other countries. It is definitely something I do plan on exploring in the future, but at this moment, I would rather make a difference in this country.
My family is very supportive of goals and ambitions and want me to succeed in all of my endeavors. I personally would like to live in Toronto, mainly because I love the city, I love that you can almost find anything to do at any hour. I also love that cities have a huge amount of ethnicity and many races. Being from a small town where Caucasians are the dominate race, I have come to terms that I do prefer living with people from many cultures and learning different things about them. So back to the question even know my family will live a bit away, I still really want to live in a big city.
I really do hope my future career will allow me a family. Material possessions are not a huge thing for me. I actually prefer good company over objects. I would love a family though and a big one at that.
This is basically the hopes and dreams I wish to accomplish in or at the end of the next 5 years.
